Ah sweet memory leaks! How I've missed thee.
Dumbed down version (easier to explain not that anyone is stupid...sigh):
Hi I'm windows, I live on your computer, I eat, sleep, shit, piss, shower and do all kinds of other crap in here that you have no idea about. To top it all off...I don't clean up after myself. The fact that I don't clean up after myself is what makes your computer slow down. In a word, nothing can get by because there's too much junk cluttering up the pathways in and around your house. In otherwords you better clean your shit up. Rebooting cleans house.
