One of my biggest regrets was when I had the opportunity to invest in Microsoft's IPO in March of '86. I remember telling my stockbroker, are you nuts? You think I'm going to invest $100K in a company run by a bunch of freaky nerds that look like they belong to some kind of 60's hippie cult.
