I am not a fan of the tax bill. There is at least one earmark and, said to be others. In all, there are multiple issues that appear to be problematic. The rhetoric that it benefits the wealthy while robbing the poor is not accurate. This bill has the potential to hurt everyone, in different ways. I don't pretend to know everything about it. I will be adversely affected by the reduction of tax write offs for home owners. One of my friends did a mock version of his taxes for last year and, came out $1,600. to the better. My broker likes the tax reform because he says it is good for small business. All in all, something this big should not be passed without an open vote of the American people. Our state representatives, in both parties, represent only themselves...not the people who pay their salary. It is a helpless feeling that the tax paying people of this country just let these clowns make such decisions.
The American people are too busy arguing with each other and, choosing sides, that the government can slide anything by us. Not only is it offensive to see people making fun of the first lady, which ever first lady it happens to be at the time, it is incredibly discouraging that the people will ever be united and, stop the corruption that spans both parties.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the tax reform bill. We just won't know until the tax bill officially passes and, is put into affect, what the outcome will be and, what it will mean to everyone.
With grave issues facing the country, seeing people break out into petty insults is frustrating.
