What do you mean by 'chargeback protection'?
That they have tight fraud controls to prevent risky transactions ("scrubbing") or that if a customer disputes the charge, they'll dispute it on you behalf?
Larger processors at least when it comes to chargebacks generally will *not* dispute them as it's not worth their time. Some like Netbilling will automatically blacklist the subscriber from signing up again, but since they use your own merchant account, the way the chargeback is handled (accepted, disputed, credit issued, etc.) is totally in your hands.
