I don't think everybody is dropping out. The price of BTC has dropped from 10k to almost 9k, but as you can see it is now back up to 9.2k. And if you look at the history of BTC, the trend is always up.

I sold some at around 10.2k because I was expecting it to drop, and it did, and today I bought some more. Of course the price might drop again but the trick now is, I think, to just sit on it. A few people are predicting it will hit $20k before the year is out, and some wilder predictions say $40k or even $100k in a few years. No one really knows for sure, but I think now is the time to buy some, and then play the waiting game.

Also, you don't really need to buy just bitcoin (BTC). Check out BCH, ETH, DASH and LTC.

Or if you want to try a crazy bet, buy some DOGE. It's at 2 cents or something like that, but it took can take off.

If you're really not sure, just try with something like $100. It'll get your feet wet and if you lose it all, "today", it will surely bounce back tomorrow.
