Most people expect homeless people to be dishonest, drug-abusing, alcoholic morons with no morals. He?s expected to rob her, steal her car, etc. Instead he?s a former vet who is down on his luck. A paramedic means he?s no dummy. Lost paperwork sounds like a nightmare and he just gave up.
I?m glad he can now buy a house, maintain it by working, contribute to society and be proud of what he?s done.
