Word association matters now. Google doesn't give a shit about your business -- it has been that way for years. If what they do in their algorithms delivers content that their searchers are looking for -- then it will be so. If users receive poor results for their search with Google -- they can try elsewhere.
The big tubes are listed because they have good metrics to Google and their searchers click. Maybe it is the tail wagging the dog but that is what people want -- free porn. The tubes are profiting from this as they become a necessary evil advertising media placement.
Google has become 'evil corp' to too many people and are now facing constant governmental scrutiny -- such as anti-trust scrutiny for some of their market dominance practices.
