This is completely false.
It's not fake at all. Yes, the Democrats paid for it but that's irrelevant. They paid for opposition research. Just because someone paid for it doesn't make it "fake" or "false".
Trump's sexual misconduct is WELL KNOWN, and well known LONG before he ran for office. All of his marriages ended because he had affairs, and you can just imagine someone like Trump with his money - hookers were a regular thing for him.
This "pee tape" was rumored before he ran for office.
As for this "dirty trick" being in violation of campaign finance laws, no, that's not true. EVERYONE who runs for public office does opposition research. Every last one of them. In some cases they have an entire staff who does opposition research.
