This is a travesty. They should outlaw guns so law-abiding citizens can't have them (criminals can still have them because, well, they're criminals anyway). The cops would have been there to protect him and his daughter in 10 minutes, 20 minutes tops. The police exist to tend to such matters anyway. Its what we all pay taxes for. Why is this fool paying taxes for a government service (protection from criminals) that he doesn't even utilize?
Sure, his daughter would have probably been kidnapped by then, if he'd simply relied on the the police to arrive in time to offer protection. But at least he wouldn't have been taking away anyone else's civil rights by brandishing a gun. And wasting his own taxes.
By the way, let's get Hillary elected in 2020 so she can criminalize guns!
