70% of all white cats are deaf, 90% of white cats with blue eyes are deaf.
I had a blue snowball one time and he became the attraction of the day at the vet's office - none of them had *ever* seen a white cat with blue eyes that could hear.
Annoyed the fuck out of my cat... people standing behind him making random noises to see if he'd turn around. By the time we left he had the ultimate "humans are fucking stupid" look on his face.
