yeah my grandfather use to warn me of the fucking nips, the japs, the ching chongs, the krauts, the fucking Italians, fucking lebs, the whinging poms, blow hard yanks, slimy Russkis, the fuckign Mexicans, the greeks.. he had a name for everyone and it usually started with "Fucking"
But he was wrong and ended up having many friends of different nationalities and cultures.
BTW:
The biggest group of immigrants in Australia is.. New Zealanders
Because NZ is close and a friend, anyone from NZ can come here and work, get free medical, get any social benefits such as employment and basically live as an Australian. The vast majority of pacific countries close to Australia are like that. Building industry here is full of islanders.
