after just completing a 100k smart home/4k tv upgrade, I've learned the hard way HDMI is very very finicky. Especially when converting it or extending it. The best answer was provided up top. I think it's impossible to jump hdmi over that many hops so to speak. But if nothing has an hdmi port why the heck you using hdmi. You'd want to do any extenders/converters over cat6a.
