There are 323 million US citizens (not including an unknown number of illegal immigrants).
These mass shootings affect such a minuscule percentage of the population. The wall to wall media coverage makes people think this is an epidemic.
The odds of any one person being involved in these is astronomical. In fact the odds of dying in Las Vegas was 1 in over 5,000,000.
