Long odds that he had a license for the automatic weapon(s). The US ATF won't just hand out licenses to own fully automatic weapons to people that are not controlled and licensed firearms dealers, selling military weapons to governments, just because the buyer offers up cash for a license. That is a ludicrous assertion -- brain dead.

99.99% probability those fully automatic weapons came from an illicit source; or were stolen (and unreported), from the police, or US or some foreign military -- then later resold on the black market.

As far as I know, the model and manufacturer of the firearms have not been revealed in the media as of yet. That is interesting as they like to offer some detailed 'proof' usually -- maybe it is just too early ... this could be too. I just read a story citing 19 various firearms found in the shooter's room -- a story that sounds rather bizarre -- no reference to the makes or models.

This shooter was either a full blown psycho or these stories are embellished or outright lies. IDK but this just seems too strange to be true ...
