Syria was never totally overrun with ISIS, nor Iraq. The refugees stopped being refugees once they found safe haven in Turkey or a Muslim country. Walking all the way to Germany, Sweden, etc made them economic migrants. Which is what I am. The difference is they will never contribute to their new home and expect to be looked after.
I contributed and don't expect to be looked after. My UK pensions private and State are paid into my Czech bank account and I still contribute. I even pay UK taxes on those pensions.
