Take Saddam for example. He refused to listen to the US. He was removed from power, his party was removed from office by force, and now he's dead. Same happened to the Taliban.

Saddam was removed from power, but at what price? To be lingering in Iraq losing American lives for the rest of time and also destabilize the entire middle east in the process?
Also, the Taliban hasn't and isn't going anywhere. Ever.
North Korea should be treated like a child that's acting out. You ignore them. This situation is being compared to the Cuban missile crisis, which implies both sides can annihilate each other, which is not even close to being the case. The US could wipe N Korea off the face of the map, and that at this point they might be able to launch a flying bath tub that can reach us, and even then it would have to survive re-entry with a capable warhead intact. I don't want to downplay what they've accomplished with their stolen or gifted nuclear technology, but comparatively they are no match. I'd have more luck winning a fight against Dwayne Johnson.
