He will talk about one country under one flag and working together then he talks about the need to end the filibuster because some evil Democrats are stopping him from achieving things (never mind the fact that he can't even get his own party to work with him). Can't he listen to himself and maybe work with people from both parties to get good things done? You openly bashed Obama numerous times for not working with the Republicans and called him a weak leader for not trying to work with them and be bipartisan, yet you don't seem to hold Trump to that same standard (or maybe you have and I just didn't see it).

Perhaps, for me, some of it comes down to just his speaking style and tone of voice. It is hard for me to watch him and not hate him even if I agree with what he is saying (which does sometimes happen) because his speaking style grates on me. It's the same reason I don't like the band Rush. They are brilliant musicians and they write some very cool music and good songs, but Geddy Lee's voice just rubs me wrong. I don't know why.

The other thing Trump does that bugs me is constantly praising himself and talking about things that bother him. In last night's speech, he was STILL talking about the election and had the crowd chanting "LOCK HER UP!" Yeah, that makes those who voted for Clinton feel welcome in Trump's America. We got it, you won. Can we move on now? He constantly goes after the media. I know it is a two-way street and they go after him for every little thing, but constantly hearing him say "fake news" and "the failing New York Times" just gets old. It's like living next door to a couple that constantly fights. You wish they would just shut the fuck up for a while so you could relax and enjoy an evening of peace and quiet.

At first, I thought it was funny that he got elected, but now he is like a crazy ex-girlfriend that won't go away and is just exhausting.
Very well stated Kane and I agree with every word you have stated. I, like you, also find his voice and manner of speaking very grating on my senses let alone the nonsense that he says. Ego filling tripe.
