That's not what you were doing, though. The guys sent you money hoping for a chance to meet a woman. They knew, as you said, that there was no guarantee, but there was actually no chance. It's sleazy. It's fraud. It's like being a fishing guide and taking someone's money then taking them to a lake that you know for a fact has no fish.
Things like this are why so many people distrust the porn world and are less willing to spend their money on it because they are afraid they are going to get ripped off.
