So the left is free to express their opinion, while the right's speech is suppressed. After all who wants to be labeled as a "nazi" and have their life ruined over some political bullshit.
This setup is unhealthy because it limits debate and ability to reach a compromise, only the left gets to express their opinions freely, while the right has to shut the fuck up afraid to speak their mind freely for fear of the consequences.
This board is a good example of this, the political leaning of its members varies wildly from far left to far right. Most of the right leaning members however don't participate in debate or use fake nicks because of the issues I described earlier.

There are many normal respectful discussions on other boards, between both sides, regarding these issues.
On GFY if you don't toe the far right alt-right agenda you're labelled a far left bleading heart liberal, called a Jew, race trader, minority slur or fag and trolled by alt-right nics all day that don't work in the industry, and only post hate, regardless of your true political leanings. That's the caliber of Republican representation on GFY but for 3 or 4 sane, real Republicans, that bother to post.
Many alt-right fake nics have been banned from GFY over the last few months so, not sure what you're implying there.
Normal Republicans here don't want to be associated with the hateful, admittedly racist and xenophobic, redhat fake alt-right hate nics on GFY.
