This setup is unhealthy because it limits debate and ability to reach a compromise, only the left gets to express their opinions freely, while the right has to shut the fuck up afraid to speak their mind freely for fear of the consequences.
This board is a good example of this, the political leaning of its members varies wildly from far left to far right. Most of the right leaning members however don't participate in debate or use fake nicks because of the issues I described earlier.
