Well, you're wrong, had you actually read the rest of the thread you would have seen that wasn't the case. A developer made the decision and due to my lack of knowledge about how much of a problem it would be for affiliates, I just passed the information along.
After feedback from affiliates, we decided to not move forward with the project. Kink has always paid affiliates and I've actually credited a number of people in this thread and others when traffic has been lost, especially due to the switch from NATS to our system. I can understand why / how your comment would apply to other programs, but here it just falls flat.
