Fellow weed smoker here, but I have to disagree with this sentiment. Why should my neighbors have to keep their doors and windows closed and not get to enjoy a nice breeze or a sunny day just because they don't want to smell my weed?
Luckily, I live in an area where I can sit out in my backyard and smoke if I want and nobody is close enough to smell it, but if they could and they complained about it, I would try to come up with a solution that we were both happy with.
I read the rest of the thread and it sounds like you have impossible neighbors, but that I still think they shouldn't have to close up their house just to accommodate you.
