The worst is when I find myself stuck in a parkway traffic jam from 30 minutes only to find out it was some city worker trimming weeds. When you think about it, a traffic jam could possibly alter the lives of many people stuck in it. What if being stuck in that traffic jam makes you miss a doctor's appointment to get that lump on your neck checked out? Then you blow off rescheduling for a few months because you get busy, and find out the lump is cancer when it's too late. Then you die because some weeds needed to get trimmed at peak time on a busy highway.
