I don't rebuild cars, but I rebuild motorcycles from the early 70's, pretty much the same concept on a smaller scale.

As a rule the people that rebuild a classic loose money. When they finish the project they sell it for about half the investment, and the next guy enjoys it.

People rebuild classics for the enjoyment and satisfaction, but its cheaper by far to get one already done. A thousand things you never thought of will bite you during the restoration.
