My first site was hosted on my old ISP free hosting you used to get when you had an ISP account so the URL was something like aracnet.com/~kane. It was a voyeur niche site where I used a filter to make all the pics look they were shot through a hidden cam. I got listed on Greenguy and Tommy's on the same day and got enough traffic (likely a few thousand hits) that the ISP took the site down and told me I would have to pay for hosting. This was in 1998.
