WHAT? Carrie, you've said some less than smart things, but this takes the fucking cake.
Have you ever been around these contestants? Most just want acceptance and being judged "beautiful" gives them that acceptance. Sure, there are a few level headed girls who are trying to use it to further their careers, but most are there to get some feedback. Do you really think they don't know the money aspects of a beauty pageant title?
Pageant girls are in it for the same exact reasons the teen models were doing it (other than those who were forced, tricked or coerced of course).
So, you're saying some 16 year old girls who shows off on her webcam for trinkets and a few bucks has less noble intentions than a 16 eyar who parades around in a bikini to get trinkets and a few bucks?
The webcam girl doesn't care about her career or education?
While I agree with the sentiment that the problem with teen modelling sites is the way they are marketed, it doesn't mean the girls involved are somehow dumber than those who strut around on stage hoping someone will vote for them that they are beautiful.
