The girls entering these pageants are doing it for their careers, for scholarships to college, etc.

The girls on the 'teen model' sites are doing it so that the parents can get money.

I don't see the pageants as child pornography - like CD said, there's no similarity whatsoever besides the fact that the girls are 17.
It ends right there.

It's like screaming that you can't have a non-nude site featuring FHM, Cosmo, and Maxim-type photography... because "all people looking for non-nude are pedophiles and you know that so if you use the term non-nude on your site you're catering to pedophiles and looking for pedophilia traffic".
Puhlease.
(Yes, I've actually had that conversation with someone.)

Edit: When I say 'teen model' I mean the ones where you look at it and the first thought in your mind is child porn. Not the ones like modelpromote.com where there are teens there.
