he is not a normal politician. how will he not rub a bunch of european liberal extremists the wrong way? anything he does would be mocked & picked. there is nothing he can do to make european liberals like him. i question whether you are being "real" on this point.
He is not a career politician. all his power comes from those rallies. he can only get his message out via twitter & rallies, because every single media outlet is at war with him & distorting the facts. you seem to be ignorant of the myriad forces working against him. he's like a lone warrior against an entire ecosystem of BI-PARTISAN elitism that is trying to destroy him. are you blind to this???
CBO said the bill would reduce cost. so yes it does something the "affordable care act" failed to do. but yes he said he would protect people & that is a broken promise. He is really in no position to work with congress on these matters since both parties hate him.

I have no interest in a bet as I have no idea what is going to come of the investigations. At this point, I think the odds are just as good that it will end up being nothing as they are that it will lead to something bad. I do, however, feel like we owe it to ourselves to investigate and see if there is anything there.
I don't buy the "Lone Wolf" bullshit. He isn't Wolverine or Hector fighting alone against the unwashed masses. He chose his path. He chose to be confrontational and much of the media hate he gets he brought onto himself. He picked the Republican Party. He could have run as an Independent. He has plenty of money to self-finance the entire campaign, but he chose the Republican Party. Now he has won and by winning the White House he became the leader of the party. Whether they like him or not isn't my problem. He picked them, he is now leading them, he needs to find a way to make this work.
I understand he is not a typical "polished" politician so he is going to do things differently. That's fine. I'm okay with sometimes embracing the madness. I am just sick of his whining about how badly he is being treated and his constant pandering to his base to love him and how he feels the need to constantly remind us how he won when people sad he wasn't going to. He asked for this job. He got it. Now do it.
