So what? Johnson and Clinton were impeached, but not removed because they were acquitted by the Senate. Richard Nixon, who single handy lengthened the Vietnam War just so he could win an election, resigned before he could be impeached. Just because they weren't removed from office doesn't mean Trump would not be, if he was stupid enough not to resign.
If Trump was impeached and convicted by the Senate, he would be expelled from office. Pence could be impeached as well but unlikely. He would become president immediately once Trump gets his fat ass kicked to the street.
