Brightside still owns NameCheap and they are doing all their registrations through their own ICANN account. Which probably explains the change in TOS (which I never received notice of via email) for the now
non guaranteed 27 renewal grace period , before it was a flat out renewal grace period of 27 days before they took possession of your domain and tried to auction it.
