I tell you...... pick a day, any day. I can sit outside on my front steps and watch the cars come down my street looking for parking spots, most of them visitors at the nearby hospital. Watch the idiots try to parallel park..... is it hilarous or scary?
Today for example, I watched one 40-ish woman try to back into a spot for nearly 10 minutes. The spot was plenty big enough for her Pontiac Sunfire, but try as she might, she just couldn't make it fit. After 10 minutes and about 12 tries, she up and drives away, obviously thinking she'll find a spot big enough to park a semi in. On a weekday around here?..... not likely.
Another guy, looks to be in his 50's, comes along.... same spot, tries to back in..... slowwwwwwwwlyyyyyyy. I'm talking slowwwwwwwww...... he takes nearly 3 minutes to get into the spot, ends up shutting his car off, getting out and walking away....... his car is in all right.... back right tire up against the curb, front end about 3 feet OUT from the curb. Clueless? Absolutely.
Any day, I'm telling you.... any given day..... they are out there, driving around like they haven't a clue in the world...... it's no wonder at all that there are so many motor vehicle accidents. Makes me wonder how they passed their drivers test in the first place.
Oh, and I've been keeping some loose tabs here.... it seems only about 1 in 4 drivers in Winnipeg actually use their signals when making lane changes. For all you fuckers too lazy to signal when turning or lane changing, you know the drill.....
