I'd say it's a wrong analogy. Siberians are Russians too - and unlike to native Americans they haven't disappeared. They still live here just like 1000 years ago. Siberians are Eastern Russians. While the West of Russia was mostly colonized by Western Russians (Moscovites, Belorussians and Malorussians aka Ukrainians). The people get mixed (that's why Russian women are the most beautiful ones) but they don't kill each other to take over their territories. There is no such a thing like first grade Russians and second grade ones.
