Yep. I was watching a show a couple of weeks ago about this guy who was 800 pounds and couldn't walk more than a few steps, but still managed to script shop and had Oxycontin prescriptions from over a dozen doctors and he had gotten about 1,300 pills in just one month.
A lot of these addicts start taking these pain meds for legit reasons then get hooked on them. Some of them end up running out of money or ways to get the prescriptions so they end up turning to heroin which is cheaper.
