Rsync between failover pairs onto mirrored disks + tape backups = best cheap bet.. better bet is doubling that with 2 seperate failover pairs, each box having different types of motherboards/revisions of network cards/different raid cards, and each half of the mirror should be the same size disk but either different firmware revisions or different brands of disk entirely.
