Our goal should remain the same - strike out at ISIS, and push for removing Assad without taking military action to remove him.

Keep in mind Trump has moved a few thousand US Marines into Syria....

naturally, denied all the first week till it was obvious ...... as usual .

The deaths in Syria are awfull, but you really do not know who did it and the logic points to ISIS ( exploding buildings with chemicals or mortars ) or even ISRAEL !
