Answer: It wouldn't.
But I do agree with you on preferring to hear what people actually say coming out of their own mouths instead of reporters bias on it.
HOWEVER...this is the kind of subject that Elizabeth Warren probably wouldn't be commenting on or proving or disproving.
And reading that Huffington Post article that supposedly says Warren pays women "More" than men...you find out real quick that it's bullshit.
The article says that Mindy Myers salary wasn't included in the "average" because she had only worked there for one quarter of the fiscal year and makes $170,000 a year in salary (how that kind of salary can be paid to just ONE person on a U.S. Senator's staff is beyond me...a U.S. senators salary is $174,470 a year. And somehow she has a staff member who gets $170,000 lol)
The Huffington Post uses Myers big ass salary as the way to change the "average" and "disprove" the original story.
SO....if you take away the relatively new hiring of just ONE woman...Mindy Myers who is the head of everything and just use the salaries of the actual "worker-level" people on her staff who have been there for YEARS...then guess what?
She pays the men MORE than the women.
That my friend is called analyzing information.

House members and members of the Senate are frequently and usually interviewed about press reports made about them if they are controversial reports such as this one about Warren, so yes it would come up. In addition many of them appear as guests on the various spots that are used by the three different C-Span orgs. It is the most informative place to gather information about domestic as well as foreign affairs in existence in my humble opinion.
It also may be the most boring to watch as it lacks the entertainment value that MSM has but if you do not like your news filtered thru the bias and spin of the MSM then C-Span is the place for you. I haven't relied upon the MSM since they found a way to make money off of the "news". If I want entertainment I will watch a sit com or a movie etc.
