Nothing has changed with NK. The reason why is simple - we can either accept things the way they are, or to war. Going to war with NK is one thing, but the much larger problem is what China would do. There is no doubt in my mind we could whip NK in two weeks with both hands tied behind our backs, but China is obviously a different story.

No American president wants to confront this issue directly.

Trump will most likely do the same. Trump talks to the talk, but when it comes to taking any action he fails.
