The Federal DOT is giving GA 10M for the emergency rebuild of that section and 5-7 more that did not collapse but damaged.
Probably cost somewhere near 60M to finalize it. Perhaps more because of the rush.
It will take 4-6 months before things get close to normal and that is not saying much for that area. It's I85 though town, not a beltway.
If I were to believe some of the initial reports, they said the fire was started from some chemicals that were spayed on the ground under it. I take that and assume that it was probably some total herbicide that was flammable for a short while after application.
But I don't have anything real on that.
