I have a comfortable home, in a great, mostly progressive & liberal country. I'm 2 minutes away from a river where I jog or bike several days a week. There are geese and ducks flying around here who make the coolest sounds. I'm 60 minutes away from beautiful mountains with green trees and blue lakes. I work hard all winter so I can spend as much time outside in the summer as I can. If you've never experienced Montreal in the Summer, you have no idea what you're missing. (Babes. Beauty is all around you, especially I'm sure, in your kids and grandkids eyes. Of course I'm sure you are at least seeing it there. Is that beauty not worth protecting sir?

No. Apple and other tech companies made interesting items that they hoped people would buy. Apples advertising makes their products look cool, but I think they make them look simple and carefree. And isn't that what you want? A device that's simple to use?

You don't really need to do that. You have some money, a home, food, electricity, heat, friends, family. You are better off than 1.6 Billion other people in the world (
Source). What I would suggest is that you take a few weekends off and go camping if you can. Seriously.
In fact, you should go by yourself. Catch a few fish, be quiet, and just think. If you can camp in the mountains, bring a small telescope and check out the night sky. Set an alarm to wake up at 3am, and then go sit by the lake. You will hear the forest begin to wake up about an hour before sunrise. It's the coolest most amazing thing, and it really helps you to "reset".
