That is completely the point. A planet of 15 Billion people will need alot of energy. Clean energy is cheaper, more abundant, more profitable, and can employ more. Clean energy means a better environment, less flooding and drastic weather, so more crops can grow and more food is available to everyone at a lower cost. Do you not think that maybe, just maybe, it would be a good idea to start planning for that future now?

You know that it's not just electric cars anymore, right? There are EV busses on the road now, and Ford is making an F-150EV, and a Hybrid Mustang. Harley Davidson is coming out with a sick EV bike in the next year or 2.

Driving EV is nothing to do with self-congratulations. People who think like this are the same people who put loud exhaust pipes on tiny shitbox cars to make them sound like a race car. It's all about how big they want people to think their cocks are.

Instead, it's everything to do with math and economics. Electric cars are more efficient at getting people from A to B. They don't pollute, they're quiet, and they are cheap to "refuel". If you're a car nut, you may appreciate that they are even fun to drive, and faster than most other cars on the road too.

1 person driving an EV won't make a difference. But if 50% of passenger cars can be electric, that's a HUGE difference.
