It's pretty funny you talk about what goes on at parties. You act like at the show floor or during a round table meeting someone got up walked to the mic and took a piss.
BFD, people dont act like themselves at the parties, well dont goto the parties then? They are a time to blow of steam.
I've met more people at the parties then I did at any round table and learned alot more information sharing a beer then I ever would elsewhere.
Like someone else said, you get out of the conventions what you want to!
