With media reporting on what the players said, it may be exact quotes or may be spun in such a way that there is little truth to their report and in some cases the reports can/and have been total fabrications. So no, I don't rely upon news reports.

That is why I spend about 80-90% of my time watching C-Span instead of the different network news orgs.
