Mark, you might not know that a lot of Trump supporters here are self described white nationalists.
White nationalists will support Trump 100% no matter what and pretend he's doing nothing wrong, no matter what. Trump is their excuse to be openly racist & xenophobic. That will stand by Trump no matter what to maintain that status. If you surf alt-right boards this is their viewpoint and it will only change if Trump grants equality rights & privileges to minorities.
