The typical redhat thinks supporting the rich businessman will trickle down to them. The minority redhat thinks supporting Trump means their a step above those who don't, and give them special protection against his racist & xenophobic ways, it won't.
Imagine how many of their friends and family they stuck their nose up at defending Trump and putting down others. Who's the winner now? Those chickens have come home to roost.
