Who told you he is effective today or he was ever effective in past? Putin is a huge hemorrhoids in Russia. He is a disaster. And course he won't leave power by his own will because he knows that his successor will send him and all his gang to jail. Everybody here knows it.

10 million views on youtube only + other video services, articles in press, reports on independent TV channels etc. A whole country speaks about it for the last two weeks... and no reaction from Russian president (his spokesmen said "no comments and fuck off" to the Russian press); no reaction from Parliament; no reaction from the prosecutor's office; no reaction from the investigative committee etc. They act just like nothing has happened. Like "One $billion USD in bribes? Pfff... So what? Everybody does so!"
That's because the gang won't fight itself and course it won't leave power.
