Actually, the people on the left understand taxes means more shit gets done. We just don't want taxes wasted on shit like more nuclear weapons as an exampke.

In the US if you notice most places with booming local economis are run by democrats. Sure there are failures like Chicago but most of the places in the US with big economic growth for years are left leaning.

There is a balance between too much and not enough taxes. The Democrats usually can manage to get it right. The Republicans usually not si much because they only care about helping the rich and letting them not pay taxes..
Everytime someone like Trump gets out of paying his taxes, someone else is paying it for him..
