Sessions said he "was not aware of any of those activities". That is a direct lie. He met with the Russians. Twice. One time at the Republican convention.
He also said "I did not have communications with the Russians". He did. Twice.
Sessions was asked what he would do if there was any evidence that anyone in the Trump campaign communicated with the Russians, and in his answer he not only lied about having evidence of communication with the Russians, but also lied that he had direct communications with the Russians while working directly for Trump.
Why is the Trump administration covering up connections with Russia if there is nothing to hide?
Trump is telling us he has no connection with the Russians while his son tells us the direct opposite when he said ?Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets" and then ?we see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.?
What are they hiding and why are they hiding it?

The intelligence agencies already know the depth of Trumps involvement with the Russians and it's very bad for Trump. Comey is refusing to give the House Intel Committee certain info, to help keep things from completely blowing up, they are having to subpoena him for the data.

These things are purposely released to the public at a slow pace so all the public can follow the facts to their eventual end. If the public is given too much at one time without the drip of facts, and processing those facts, then they won't believe the outcome.
Remember, Trumps campaign, and his transition team, were being investigated by the FBI and didn't know it, it was a few months after the investigation started that it went public, and since it went public his Putin pets have been "resigning" one by one
