Well...it turns out that "no" none of those things are done according to refugees who made it to the U.S. recently.

Our govt. simply forces them to stay in refugee camps for 2 years before "vetting" them.

That's fucked up.

A family living in an Egyptian refugee camp was interviewed 5 different times in a process that lasted about 4 hours (after being there for 2 years).
They were asked "yes" and "no" questions like: ?Are you a member or representative of a terrorist organization?"

The men were asked extra questions about their time in service in the Syrian Army (It's mandatory for ALL men in Syria to serve a stint in the Army there).

Anyway, I just thought it was interesting.
The govt. makes it sound like it's a 2 year investigation into each refugee.
Nope.

Whether it's enough to keep ISIS or Al Queda from coming in with the refugees (as they claim they will)...I don't know.
Neither does the Federal Govt.
The FBI says it's not possible to truly know.

And Hillary stated in an email that it was "impossible".

So in my opinion...we need a better way of "vetting" them to know who they are. And it needs to be sped up. 2 years is a nightmare for the 99.99% of refugees who are really looking to escape a living hell.

We need a system that truly vets them and does so quickly.

The current system is a joke.
