The only time Amazon has anything to do with that is when they are selling the item themselves or they allow the manufacturers to control the buy box.

Amazon is a warehouse network and website. Most of the items on their site are not Amazon's it's other people selling them and paying Amazon a fee..
So is Amazon charging a slightly higher fee for those who have the Buy Box ?
