They didn't get shit?
No mention was made of documents, etc.
This is hardly the same as 'eagle claw' I remember that well. The military was demoralized from the loss in Vietnam and using very iffy equipment. I am assuming today this was Delta Force, Seals or some specialized commandos. I don't think they are celebrating any big win today.
Yemen's a joke. This was all about provoking Iran. Better to have had a US warship '' blow an Iranian gunboat out of the water" no American would have died.

You have to remember in situations like this... We rarely know a fraction of the truth. Different sources are telling us different things.
The original reports said up to 57 terrorists dead, three of whom were top Al Qaeda terrorists.
A total of 14 fighters from Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula were killed in the assault, and U.S. service members captured "information that will likely provide insight into the planning of future terror plots," according to the military.

No matter what source you use or what they said, we killed a dozen people and only suffered the lost of one life. (We also lost an Osprey, but that's not a big deal.) Still acceptable losses, damage inflicted, information gathered, and a very strong message sent to terrorists around the world.
Everyone here on GFY knows I am dead set against Trump, but this isn't about Trump. Most likely these plans were in place before Trump took office. Politics and military are two different things. This was a win for the good guys.
